Job Summary The LA Program is currently recruiting for a part‑time program assistant to support the program's operations and initiatives. Hours are flexible and may increase if desired.
Duties
Assist in the coordination of program functions and events.
Assist with developing and implementing program projects and schedules.
Collaborate with the team on projects and daily tasks.
Minimum Qualifications High school diploma with three (3) years of experience or two (2) years of post‑secondary education with one (1) year of experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or relevant experience required.
Must not be a current student.
At least 3 semesters of FIU work experience or related experience outside the University with satisfactory or higher prior student appointment.
Requires a letter of recommendation from one prior supervisor.
Requires prior completion of FIU Service Excellence training or completion within first 30 days.
Ability to work in a team setting.
Advanced proficiency of Microsoft Office Suites.
Ability to work independently.
