Job Overview This role administers the various agreements entered into by APT, ensuring compliance with contract terms and federal/state regulations. Responsibilities include preparing and amending contracts, maintaining records, interfacing with internal stakeholders, and managing contract‑related financials.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Administer the various agreements entered into by APT and ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of the contracts and amendments while conforming to state and federal regulations.
Prepare contracts and amendments using standard forms and templates; update and amend contractual Transaction Confirmation Exhibits as required.
Enter contractual data into Aligne contract management system, including initial setup, amendments, name changes, address changes, billing information and other applications as required; route contracts for approval and execution.
Practice proper processing, maintenance and retention of contracts and amendments in the appropriate files and records repositories.
Follow SOX procedures and maintain adequate records for audit purposes.
Research and respond to inquiries and data requests from internal and external customers.
Interface with various internal groups including TBS Support, Legal, Accounting, Gas Scheduling, Gas Control and Gas Measurement to address day‑to‑day issues that may occur in the administration of the contract.
Assist with the resolution of outstanding accounts receivables.
Monthly review and reconcile preliminary invoices before the final invoices are issued to the customers.
Enter monthly Pipeline Transportation Rates in Aligne each month for transportation and other services provided by APT for its customers.
Run daily reports to ensure contractual obligations are met at the receipt and delivery locations of the pipeline.
Resolve outstanding accounts receivables by working with Accounting, Cash Recon and Cash Application.
Monitor and manage contractual imbalances and actively work with shippers to balance agreements.
Prepare and file accurate quarterly and annual FERC reporting.
Maintain and update functional knowledge of Atmos Mid‑Tex tariffs and their applications.
Maintain and update functional knowledge of the various Mid‑Tex coalition groups.
Develop skills to become a SME (Subject Matter Expert) for the Pipeline/Industrial Contract Administration team (beginner level).
Minimum Requirements
Education/Experience: Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of related experience or equivalent, or must have demonstrated Contract Administrator I skills proficiently.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate with internal and external customers, management and legal on complex matters.
Numeric Skills: Ability to perform analyses involving ratios, percentages, simple statistical methods and calculations to reconcile financial statements and accounts.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills to create standardized documents, reports and spreadsheets using FIS Aligne system, Oracle A/R Database, Microsoft Office Suite, DocuSign, Laserfiche and related software.
Work Conditions: Office environment; may include work after hours, weekends and holidays as needed; occasional bending, stooping, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning and/or lifting.
