Summary
Join the Military Flight Controls Division, a global leader in fly-by-wire flight control systems and electrohydraulic products. Heavily involved in designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for military and commercial aircraft components, including JetPipe® electrohydraulic servovalve (EHSV) systems. Responsibilities
Develop and improve manufacturing processes, assembly layouts, and production methods to optimize quality, cost, safety, and efficiency. Design and maintain BOMs, assembly documents, and work instructions while performing process analysis and applying lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles. Conduct testing, FEA, and technical reporting to ensure product and process reliability. Collaborate with suppliers, production teams, and cross-functional engineering teams to solve complex manufacturing challenges and implement improvements. Lead or mentor less experienced engineers and support high-level projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Qualifications
BS in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering; 6+ years of relevant experience. Knowledge of manufacturing theories, process optimization, SPC, CAD/CAM systems, and aerospace or similar industry practices. SME or ASME certification preferred. Seniority level
