Overview

We’re seeking a

POS Field Technician

for nationwide deployments of Point-of-Sale systems. This role is

100% travel

and works

2nd/3rd shift (8 PM–4 AM, M–F)

with some weekends possible. Ideal candidates bring POS hardware/software expertise, network cabling skills, and excellent customer service. Responsibilities

Install, configure, and troubleshoot POS systems (Oracle MICROS, NCR, Square, Shopify) Perform low-voltage cabling (pulling, terminating, conduit work) Set up peripherals: scanners, printers, card readers, cash drawers Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity Provide onsite training and document work Travel nationwide, staying on a 5-day schedule Top Required Skills

POS hardware installation & configuration Network cabling: install, pull, and termination Technical Skills

POS platforms: MICROS, NCR, Square, etc. Networking (LAN, switches, routers, APs) Payment systems & peripheral setup Diagnostics, troubleshooting tools Security & data migration knowledge Certifications:

A+ required; cabling cert preferred Soft Skills

Strong communication & customer service Problem-solving in fast-paced environments Attention to detail & time management Experience Required

2–5 years in a similar field/POS tech role Tech III level experience Low-voltage cabling experience a must Benefits
