Senior Project Manager
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Base pay range $140,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee and manage various commercial construction projects from inception through completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of the construction process, and the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Description
Lead and manage all phases of commercial construction projects valued up to $100 million, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project goals are met and stakeholder expectations are exceeded.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure the timely delivery of projects.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements on site.
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to overcome challenges.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality control, and address any issues that arise.
Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders to ensure project alignment and collaboration.
Prepare and present project updates, financial reports, and documentation to senior management and clients.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior project managers and other team members.
Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
A minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in commercial construction project management, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects up to $100 million.
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project management practices, and industry regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong understanding of Florida Construction Market including building codes.
Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD).
