This hands-on role involves assembling high-quality pumps and components that meet rigorous specifications and delivery timelines. Located in Columbia, SC, this position offers an opportunity to contribute to a leading-edge production facility. What you’ll do
Precision Assembly: Assemble pumps and components to exact specifications, ensuring top-notch quality and adherence to customer requirements. Problem-Solving: Collaborate with the Production Manager or Assembly Lead to tackle production challenges and keep operations running smoothly. Quality and Safety: Uphold high standards of quality and safety in all tasks, including assembly, testing, tagging, packing, and loading. Versatile Contributions: Assist with warehouse functions such as pulling, picking, shipping, and receiving parts as needed. Global Opportunities: Be prepared for potential travel, domestic or international, to support operations. Dynamic Role: Engage in other duties and special projects as required, contributing to an evolving production environment. Who you are
High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and operate overhead and jib cranes safely. A valid state driver’s license for forklift operation is required. Strong mechanical skills and physical stamina to work in a demanding environment with lifting, stooping, bending, and climbing. Specific vision abilities for close and distance vision, plus strong communication skills using keyboards, phones, and office equipment. What’s in it for you
