Environmental Site Assessment Project Manager CMP Services is seeking an experienced Environmental Site Assessment Project Manager to support environmental site assessment and remediation activities for LAUSD. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership, and regulatory knowledge to oversee environmental investigations, remediation, and compliance with state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate work performed by environmental contractors under MSA agreements for Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Soils Disposition Evaluations, Soils Evaluations under SCAQMD Rule 1466, Health & Safety Risk Assessments, Preliminary Environmental Assessments, Remedial Investigations/Feasibility Studies, Public Participation Plans, and PCB Surveys and Mitigation.

Assist in the development and management of remediation contracts.

Manage and track project budgets, contracts, and schedules for environmental assessments and cleanups.

Provide technical advice to OEHS Management on contractor oversight, budget control, and schedule performance.

Coordinate environmental review processes with the Facilities Services Division requirements including project scheduling, budgeting, design and construction, emergency response, waste disposal, and demolition.

Minimum Qualifications

7+ years of full-time experience managing environmental investigations and remediation under DTSC or a similar regulatory agency.

Strong understanding of site investigation and remedial strategies, federal/state/local environmental regulations, and protocols of DTSC, RWQCB, and SCAQMD.

Education

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, preferably in Geology, Engineering, or a related field.

Certifications

California Professional Registration (Certified Hydrogeologist, Professional Engineer, or Professional Geologist).
