Scada Engineer We are seeking a skilled and motivated SCADA Engineer to join our operations team in a fast‑paced chemical blending and filling facility that serves the car wash industry. You will design, develop, and maintain our automation systems, implementing and supporting Ignition SCADA, integrating with Allen‑Bradley PLCs and other PLCs, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to optimize automation workflows.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain SCADA systems using Ignition by Inductive Automation.

Program and troubleshoot Allen‑Bradley (RSLogix/Studio 5000) and other PLCs.

Integrate PLCs with SCADA systems for real‑time monitoring, control, and data acquisition.

Support chemical blending and filling operations by ensuring reliable and scalable automation systems.

Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and quality teams to improve system performance and uptime.

Develop HMI screens, dashboards, and reports for operators and management.

Maintain documentation for automation systems, including network diagrams, control logic, and system configurations.

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry standards.

Essential Skills & Experience

PLC programming

Automation

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or related field.

3+ years of SCADA engineering experience, preferably in chemical or manufacturing environments.

Proficiency in Ignition SCADA, Allen‑Bradley PLCs, and other PLCs.

Strong understanding of industrial networking (Ethernet/IP, OPC UA, Modbus).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with HMI development, scripting (Python preferred), and database integration.

Familiarity with chemical blending, filling, or similar process control systems.

Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.

Work Environment The role is based in a dynamic chemical blending and filling facility that serves the car wash industry. You will work with cutting‑edge technologies and equipment, focusing on automation and process optimization to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Job Type & Location Permanent, full‑time. De Pere, Wisconsin (fully onsite).

Pay and Benefits Pay range: $100,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year. Competitive wages and benefits including comprehensive health, dental and vision coverage, matching 401(k), paid time off and more.
