Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Entry‑Level Lab Technician to join our Complaint Investigations Lab. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with technical backgrounds to gain hands‑on experience in the medical device and biotechnology industry.

As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for unpacking and sorting returned medical products, performing investigations on returned blood glucose meters, test strips, and sensors, and documenting all findings in accordance with FDA and ISO standards. You will use a variety of lab equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, test fixtures, and microscopes to troubleshoot and evaluate product performance.

Key Responsibilities

Unpack and sort returned products by product line.

Investigate returned devices to determine root cause of customer complaints.

Perform functional, physical, and/or chemical testing using standard lab equipment.

Document investigation results in the Complaint Handling System accurately and thoroughly.

Ensure all test equipment is maintained and calibrated.

Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.

Contribute to the timely investigation and closure of customer complaints.

Maintain detailed and compliant documentation as per FDA and ISO requirements.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) with relevant technical experience.

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet navigation.

Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.

Excellent documentation and data entry skills.

Ability to perform routine and repetitive tasks with a high level of focus.

Comfortable working in a structured, team‑oriented lab environment.

Ability to follow detailed written instructions (SOPs).

Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical field.

Bachelor’s Degree (ideal for recent graduates looking for an entry‑level opportunity).

Experience in the Medical Device or Biotech industry.

Knowledge of electronic troubleshooting and lab tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.

Prior experience in inspection or quality roles is a plus.
