Quality Technician
We are seeking a Quality Technician to support product complaint investigations and ensure timely, accurate reporting. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, documentation, and support of continuous improvement initiatives in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot electronic circuits and mechanical failures to determine root cause.
Utilize lab equipment such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, microscopes, gauges, and custom fixtures.
Document all investigation results in the electronic complaint system.
Prepare, decontaminate, and manage returned products, including SAP transactions and physical scrapping.
Review product records (DHR, risk assessments, labeling, etc.) for non-return complaints.
Assist in developing and qualifying test methods, data sheets, and fixtures.
Support lab maintenance and ensure calibration of equipment.
Participate in continuous improvement projects and create change requests as needed.
Qualifications
Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
1+ year in a related field; 2+ years in a failure analysis or quality lab preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
Proficiency with Windows and MS Office; SAP experience a plus.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and quality-focused.
Medical device industry experience preferred.
