Structural Design Engineer (Entry Level and Associate)

Position Responsibilities
Level 1 – Assist with documentation of structural and interior payload system requirements.
Level 1 – Assist with development, maintenance, and modification of payload system and component designs using 3‑D CAD tools.
Level 1 – Assist with tests to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
Level 1 – Assist with supplier development, test and production activities to optimize design and achieve program goals.
Level 1 – Works under close supervision.
Level 2 – Assist to develop, integrate and document structural and interior payload system requirements.
Level 2 – Develop, maintain and modify basic structural and interior payload system and component designs using 3‑D CAD tools.
Level 2 – Perform tests to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
Level 2 – Assist with supplier development, test and production activities and coordination with supplier.
Level 2 – Support investigation of emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs.
Level 2 – Works under general supervision.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Materials Science).
Exposure to mechanical and/or structural design.
Experience creating, executing, reviewing, and managing structural design models.
Experience working conceptual, preliminary and detailed design including 2‑D drawings and 3‑D deliverables.
Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
Experience in CAD/CAM software (CATIA v5, SolidWorks, Siemens NX).
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Active U.S. Secret Clearance.
Experience validating or verifying structural models.
Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
Experience with structural design principles for aircraft primary structures, secondary structures, and interior payloads.
Experience with UPR/MRB in commercial derivative platforms.
Analytical, communication and problem‑solving skills.
Additional Information Security Clearance:
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required). Interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre‑Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post‑Start required.
Relocation:
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
Work Location:
100% onsite in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Shift:
1st shift.
Compensation:
Entry Level $60,350 – $81,650; Associate $70,550 – $95,450.
