Job Title: Supply Chain Planner
Employment Type: Fulltime permanent with AXISCADES
Location: Decatur, IL
Demand forecasting:
Develop and manage forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and sales input to predict future customer demand.
Inventory management:
Implement strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels, minimizing excess stock and preventing stockouts. This includes tracking inventory across multiple locations.
Production planning:
Create and manage production schedules to ensure the timely availability of finished goods, coordinating with the manufacturing or procurement teams.
Supplier coordination:
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and products, monitoring supplier performance and resolving issues.
Logistics management:
Coordinate the movement of goods, working with logistics providers and warehouses to meet delivery schedules efficiently.
Data analysis:
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover and lead times. Prepare reports for management to guide decision‑making.
Continuous improvement:
Participate in and drive cross‑functional projects aimed at enhancing supply chain efficiency, reducing costs, and improving processes.
