About the Role Location:

Augusta, ME

We are seeking a

Scheduler/Cost Controller

to support our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in driving project excellence, collaborating with industry leaders, and ensuring high‑quality outcomes across complex initiatives.

Responsibilities

Produce regular and ad‑hoc reports to support project planning and control initiatives.

Ensure policies, procedures, and standards are adhered to across all functional departments.

Verify the accuracy of cost information, including proper coding and allocation to the project budget.

Produce accounting reports, cost trend reports, and reports on deviations, underruns, and overruns.

Prepare forecasts and monitor project costs against budget and forecast.

Maintain change control and the change order register.

Develop Integrated Master Schedules and evaluate activities impacting the project, including critical path analysis and look‑ahead increments.

Perform EVM (Earned Value Management) throughout project stages.

Provide guidance to other project personnel on scheduling best practices and techniques.

Develop, implement, and maintain project control databases and reports.

Coordinate with Project Managers to reconcile program controls data with financial and performance systems.

Manage journal entries related to project costs.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Controlling and 4 years of experience in Construction Project Scheduling.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

CAPM or PMI‑SP certification.

Experience with SAP.

Proficiency in Primavera (preferred) and/or Microsoft Project.

Experience in the functional area of Substations, T&D, Gas‑Hydro, and OSG.
