About the Role We are seeking a dynamic leader to join our team as an Engineering Manager. This role is a key member of the plant leadership team and will be responsible for guiding and developing the manufacturing engineering team. The Engineering Manager ensures continuous process improvement, leads key projects, manages budgets, and provides technical expertise to deliver high-quality products to customers.
Reports to Plant Manager
Position Type Exempt
Key Responsibilities
Promote and uphold safety, quality, and continuous improvement as core operational values.
Lead engineering initiatives in process design, optimization, and equipment development.
Manage day-to-day engineering support for operations, prioritizing improvement projects and problem-solving efforts.
Drive process capability enhancements, cost reduction, scrap minimization, and downtime reduction.
Lead cross-functional teams on strategic growth and innovation projects, serving as project manager.
Effectively communicate technical concepts and ROI justifications to non-technical stakeholders.
Oversee engineering change reviews, ensuring compliance and proper documentation.
Evaluate and approve cost estimates related to engineering projects and process changes.
Foster strong relationships with peers, internal teams, customers, and suppliers to support collaborative success.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
7–10 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
Prior leadership or management experience strongly preferred.
Proven track record in project management, strategic planning, and process improvement.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills using structured methodologies.
Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
