Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Specialist to manage the sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management activities of our organization. The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services while maintaining quality, compliance, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, lead, and execute procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure optimal agreements.
Manage supplier relationships, including onboarding, performance monitoring, and conflict resolution.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and align purchasing activities.
Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely approval, processing, and delivery of goods/services.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain/logistics teams for efficient replenishment.
Ensure compliance with company policies, legal, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
Conduct market research to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and potential new suppliers.
Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and vendor databases.
Support budget planning and provide regular reports on procurement metrics and cost analysis.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (CIPS certification is a plus).
Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist, Buyer, or in a similar supply chain/procurement role.
Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract management skills.
Knowledge of procurement software/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa, or similar).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
