Role Overview
The successful candidate will be an important part of the Marketing team and will work closely with Litigation Department leadership, practice group leaders, attorneys, and other marketing team members to support the Litigation practices in developing new business and deepening existing client relationships. The ideal candidate demonstrates independent judgment, strategic and diplomatic thinking, and the ability to lead business development while building consensus.
Key Responsibilities
Lead efforts to identify relationships and build awareness of firm capabilities with relevant practice and industry organizations
Provide business development coaching in group and one‑on‑one settings
Participate in pitches and client meetings to identify and pursue new business opportunities, including strategic account management and industry teams
Develop target lists and opportunities for new business
Maintain a rolling pipeline tracking opportunities; forecast targets and help attorneys achieve goals
Manage the compilation, development, and maintenance of relevant database contact/mailing lists
Work with Department Chairs and Practice Group leaders to create and implement strategic business development plans
Qualifications
Minimum of five years of experience in professional services marketing
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
Advanced proficiency in computer applications; familiarity with CRM systems highly desirable
Advanced analytical and project management skills, able to manage multiple priorities independently
Collaborative, team-oriented mindset and strong commitment to client service excellence

Salary and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $140,000 – $160,000. Benefits include an excellent benefits package (details available in Careers section).
