Overview

The Leasing Manager leads the onsite leasing team and is responsible for driving occupancy, increasing revenue, and supporting a high-quality resident experience. This role involves coaching Leasing Consultants, executing leasing and marketing strategies, and ensuring consistent leasing performance across the community. It’s a strong fit for someone with leasing experience, a results-driven mindset, and the ability to lead by example while delivering excellent service. Key Responsibilities

Leasing Leadership & Team Support

Supervise and coach Leasing Consultants, providing regular support and feedback. Set and track weekly and monthly traffic and leasing goals. Lead team meetings to review performance, objections, and outreach plans. Ensure prompt follow-up on tours and applications. Assign and review daily leasing responsibilities and audit compliance with file standards. Leasing & Marketing Execution

Conduct property tours and present apartment features with professionalism and enthusiasm. Track traffic, follow up with prospective residents, and maintain accurate leasing records. Create and implement monthly marketing strategies, including social media campaigns. Monitor rental rates and comps, and provide recommendations to inform pricing decisions. Maintain relationships with locator services and communicate availability and specials. Recommend signage, flyers, and other advertising materials as needed. Resident Engagement & Retention

Assist with scheduling and promoting resident events and outreach programs. Encourage and track resident referrals and support retention initiatives. Assist with renewal preparation and communicate with residents regarding lease extensions. Collect resident feedback and support follow-up efforts to resolve concerns. Respond to inquiries and service requests in collaboration with the site team. Office & Property Standards

Maintain high standards for model and vacant unit presentation. Assist with tracking move-in gifts and ordering marketing materials. Answer calls, emails, and resident inquiries in a courteous, timely manner. Support preparation of leasing and marketing performance reports. Required Qualifications

1+ years of experience in leasing, sales, or property management; team leadership experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with RealPage or similar software is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or degree preferred. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed. Proficiency with social media marketing Flexible availability including some weekends. Key Competencies
