Location: South Miami, FL
Shift: 12‑hour shifts (7a‑7p or 7p‑7a), up to 7 days a week. Pay rate: $15/hr.
Job Summary Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) provide essential care to patients in various settings under the supervision of registered nurses and licensed practical nurses.
Responsibilities
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and eating.
Monitor vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) and report changes.
Help patients ambulate or transfer from bed to wheelchair or chair.
Assist with personal hygiene tasks: brushing teeth, combing hair, shaving.
Provide emotional support and companionship.
Collect and document patient information, such as intake and output of fluids.
Clean and disinfect patient equipment and rooms.
Follow safety protocols to prevent infection spread.
Communicate effectively with patients, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
BLS certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
CNA certification/license
TB/PPD or Chest X-ray
Driver’s license
Physical/Medical clearance
At least 1 year of CNA experience
All required vaccines: Flu, Varicella, MMR, Hep B, COVID
Compassionate and caring nature
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical stamina to lift and move patients
