Partner with business analysts and technical leads to define the technical requirements, principles, and models that guide solution decisions within the Enterprise Reference Architecture for our warehouse and distribution management systems. Responsibilities

Analyze and translate business, information and technical requirements to outline solutions that apply to or integrate across large/complex applications, systems, and platforms to achieve business objectives. The role specializes in Manhattan Systems’ Warehouse Management for Open Systems (WMOS) application and related supply chain execution applications. Works on multiple and complex projects or problems as WMOS project lead, internal consultant or support lead; participates in WMOS and related technical and business discussions relative to current issues or design, as well as future architecture and functional direction. Supports and participates in developing policies, standards, guidelines and procedures; drives the alignment and support of WMOS strategy and function with business requirements. Coordinates implementation, modification and/or specialized support activities for WMOS and related components; assists in post-implementation and continuous improvement efforts to enhance performance and future outcomes. Participates in the Enterprise Reference Architecture and WMOS domain architecture governance process; reviews exceptions and makes recommendations to architectural and application standards at domain and project level. Identifies improvement opportunities for WMOS and related applications, code, or infrastructure; supports development of software, data delivery, or infrastructure platforms for stable warehouse and distribution systems. Provides strategic and tactical consultation to business and IT partners related to the WMOS domain; responsible for quality assurance and documentation of WMOS and related applications, infrastructure and support. Develops, motivates, and directs colleagues to create a team environment; influences through expert knowledge and leadership of the system, application or infrastructure domain; interfaces with support partners to ensure issues are analyzed and solutions are designed and implemented. Performs professional-level, complex analysis, evaluation or research with broad knowledge of operational and technical concepts focused on WMOS and related systems. Interacts professionally and effectively with all professional contacts with emphasis on the Company’s interests; works under general direction and may lead moderately complex projects. Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science or related field; 10+ years in information technology, preferably implementing logistics, warehouse management or TMS solutions. 5+ years of direct experience with Manhattan Associates’ Warehouse Management for Open Systems (WMOS) in a retail and ecommerce business. 3 years of experience with SQL/PL-SQL/Oracle databases; programming languages such as C, C++, Java, JavaScript; Unix; or Python; and configuration/scripting with Linux/Unix. 3 years of experience with related material handling systems such as voice picking, RF handhelds, label printers, pick-to-light and package sortation and similar IT-WMS equipment. Knowledge of how a distribution center operates and how functional processes can be configured and supported in a warehouse management system (WMS). Competencies

The pay ranges outlined below are presented in accordance with state-specific regulations. These ranges may differ in other areas and could be subject to variation based on regulatory minimum wage requirements. Actual pay rates will depend on factors such as position, location, level of experience, and applicable state or local minimum wage laws.
