Technical Accounting Analyst – Capital Assets
Our Client, one of the largest consumer product companies in the US, is looking for a Technical Accounting Analyst – Capital Assets, to join their team. This is a hybrid role based in Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities
Serve as an accounting subject matter working with sectors, peers and key customers, in providing guidance in the proper accounting/classification of intangibles, internally developed software, PP&E, and leases.
Review and validate client contracts to ensure requirements for compliance to contract terms including operation maintenance and balance sheet review for assigned sectors.
Provide month and year-end support for Capital Assets close processes ensuring compliance to all policies and procedures for capitalization; including, recording/posting journal entries in SAP and supply/ensure appropriate support is provided.
Assist in enhancing Compass Capital Asset/Client Investment policies and procedures and Balance Sheet integrity through process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
CPA, or CPA in progress, is HIGHLY preferred
2-3 years of accounting AND audit experience
Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
Proficient in Microsoft Office
STRONG excel skills required
