The City of Phoenix Human Resources Department Talent Acquisition team is seeking a Specialist to be the dedicated Information Technology Recruiter (Senior Human Resources Analyst) and support the hiring efforts of the Information Technology Services Department (ITS). ITS is the central IT department in the City and supports enterprise technologies across the organization. The department currently has more than 200 positions.

As the dedicated ITS Recruiter, you will consult with leaders on labor market conditions, recruitment strategy, and city compliance requirements to bring top talent to the city. You will serve a vital role in the success of the city by empowering ITS to make smart and timely hiring decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Day-to-day recruitment management in the Applicant Tracking System.

Work with ITS to develop well-crafted job announcements, screening/interview questions, and other selection materials.

Support and execute proactive and creative recruitment strategies designed to promote quality selection processes.

Educate and advance ITS leaders' knowledge of the job market and labor trends.

Support various testing processes throughout the organization.

Work with community partners and professional memberships to identify potential candidates and develop talent pipelines through networking and attending hiring fairs.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and city policies.

Telework Eligibility

— Depending on assignment, this position may be eligible for up to 5 days of telework at the discretion of the HR Director. Employees are required, with notice, to come into the office at times for meetings or attend recruiting events in-person in the Phoenix metro area.

Dedicated Department Recruiters are Senior Human Resources Analysts who report to Talent Acquisition. These positions, however, are paid for by a specific department and support recruitment and hiring exclusively for that department. This role will manage special employment outreach efforts with community partners and must be able to build and manage relationships with key stakeholders. This position will be the primary point of contact for ITS staff, applicants, and candidates who receive job offers in the host department.

Salary Pay Range: $63,044.80 - $97,780.80 annually.

Hiring Range: $63,044.80 - $88,691.20 annually.

Hiring range is an estimate of where you can receive an offer. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, training, and internal equity.

Internal Only: Please understand that this is pay grade 055. If selected, your salary offer will be based on the applicable promotion or demotion worksheet in accordance with the City Pay Ordinance.

Promotions occur when the last two digits of the pay grade increase.

Demotions occur when the last two digits of the pay grade decrease.

Lateral transfers occur when there is no change to the last two digits of the pay grade.

When there is a change in the first digit of the pay grade, there may also be a change to your classification or unit.

Minimum Qualifications

Two years of professional human resources management experience.

Bachelor's degree in human resources, public or business administration, or a related field.

Other combinations of education and experience that meet the minimum qualifications may be substituted.

General knowledge of various IT languages.

Social media platforms, including creating and editing content.

Preparing and presenting training to all levels of staff.
