Overview
The Medical Materiel Specialist I role at Goldbelt Apex LLC is contingent upon the successful award of a contract currently under bid. The position is part of the Healthcare Technology Transformation Group, focused on process and quality in healthcare IT.
Summary The role includes general warehousing tasks, customer support, requisition, shipping, receiving, building medical kits, inventory management, Quality Assurance (QA), cargo preparation and deployment, and handling medical controlled items. It also involves operating materials‑handling equipment and updating DoD MMIS records.
Responsibilities
Logistical oversight and inventory management of the 27 Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) Response Enterprise to ensure precise SLEP/DMLSS statistics.
Monthly reviews and reports to the COR on SLEP and DMLSS inventory records to maintain program compliance.
Serve as the Logical SLEP coordinator.
Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Track and document usage of medical materials.
Assist in procurement of medical supplies and equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of logistics field experience (preferably in Medical Logistics) and familiarity with MMIS.
Must hold a Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of medical supplies and equipment.
