Principal Electrical Engineer

for our

Saratoga Springs

and

Buffalo New York

offices. As part of our electrical team you will have exceptional opportunities to provide superior solutions to our clients’ most difficult problems through a variety of water related assignments. The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of electrical power, lighting, and motor control system design and analysis for water, wastewater, reuse, and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Integrating with design team from initial studies and conceptual design through construction of substation, generators, pump stations, and/or treatment facilities.

Field investigations and site visits from design through construction.

Electrical systems design and analysis.

Required Qualifications:

5 - 15 years’ experience

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology (MS or MEng Preferred)

Professional Engineering license in NY

Self-starter with attention to detail

Excellent writing, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Proficient in typical computer software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

BIM/CADD and other software (ETAP, SKM, etc.) skills are a plus.
