Job Description The Test Engineer will primarily be responsible for testing the Infotainment System with the Client’s App along with their team of Engineers. Key duties include creating test specifications and executing tests.

Responsibilities

Test the Infotainment System with the Client’s App.

Understand requirements and system design.

Develop test specifications, set up the test environment, and execute tests.

Report defects, prepare test reports, and communicate status.

Support and work with remote teams.

Collaborate with Function Owners, Domain Experts, Test Architects, and Development teams.

Use automotive tools for CAN/FlexRay/Ethernet communication.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in the automotive domain, specifically in the infotainment domain.

Knowledge of mobile app testing and mobile development lifecycle.

Test case creation for iOS and Android devices.

Cross‑platform compatibility testing and mobile device feature integration.

Hands‑on experience with infotainment features such as Navigation, Voice User Interface, HMI, and connectivity.

Strong experience writing test specifications and setting up test environments.

Experience with JIRA, Zephyr, Appium, and other test management tools.

Good understanding of protocols like CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS, A2B, USB.

Experience using automotive tools such as Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, and CANape.

Experience with automotive hardware such as Vector VN‑box and peak CAN hardware.

ASPICE process and Agile methodology experience.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong knowledge of JIRA.

Support defect management discussions.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
