of freestanding Health Centers and Wellness Campuses. With a focus on rural, lower-income, and medically underserved areas, CHDP’s mission is to bring quality, affordable healthcare and wellness to the places and people that need it most. We partner with medical service providers, integrative care providers, mental health experts, and physicians to deliver world-class facilities, increase the availability of specialty care, and contribute to the economic growth of underserved communities. Access to healthcare—especially affordable, specialty care—is a significant problem for residents of rural, low-income, and underserved communities. We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Finance Director to join our leadership team. The Finance Director will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and developing financial strategies that support our mission and goals. This role will work closely with senior management to drive financial performance and provide insights that support decision-making. Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership: Lead the finance team and develop them as individuals to grow in their roles. Create a culture of inclusion and excellence where the team feels supported and motivated to excel. Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives. Lead the financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes. Financial Reporting: Oversee and participate in the preparation and compiling of timely and accurate financial statements, reports, and analyses. Present financial performance and strategic insights to the executive team. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all regulatory and reporting requirements in the healthcare sector. Manage financial risks and develop mitigation strategies. Act as the organization’s compliance officer to ensure compliance in all aspects of the company’s work. Develop and manage the organization’s compliance program and foster a culture of compliance. Cost Management: Analyze costs and identify areas for efficiency and cost-saving initiatives. Implement financial controls to optimize resource allocation. Implement a cash control system. Work with stakeholders to create staffing metrics for leaders to aid in making appropriate staffing decisions. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with department heads and external stakeholders to support financial planning and performance monitoring. Build strong relationships with auditors, banks, and other financial partners. Strategic Initiatives: Participate in strategic planning and development of business cases for new projects, services, or investments. Evaluate the financial viability of proposed initiatives. Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field required; MBA or CPA preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the healthcare industry. Strong understanding of healthcare finance, health care accounting, reimbursement models, and regulatory compliance. Proven track record of financial analysis, budgeting, reporting, and with audits. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel when required. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
