Your Career We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Designer to join our team. In this role, you will shape the future of Palo Alto Networks security products, tackle complex design challenges, and mentor junior designers. Your Impact Lead Design Initiatives: Own and deliver large, complex projects from conception to completion. Lead design reviews, advocate for feature priority changes based on business context, and proactively identify and address potential problems. Enhance Our Design System: Contribute to and enhance design system modules and UX tools and processes, ensuring brand consistency and exceptional aesthetics across all product modules. Drive Product Quality: Improve product quality by pursuing initiatives such as testing and process enhancements. Collaborate & Influence: Team up with and influence peers across teams to solve cross-functional problems. Serve as a UX representative for QA issues and participate in design meetings for other products. Mentor & Develop: Mentor and develop team members, coordinating activities of other designers as needed. Innovate & Solve: Tackle complex and vague problems in cybersecurity, using in-depth evaluation and creative methods to develop innovative solutions. Present & Share Knowledge: Use strong presentation skills to share knowledge and contribute to tech talks across teams. Contribute to Hiring: Actively participate in interviews to assess design candidates. Qualifications Your Experience 5+ years of UX design experience in enterprise products, with significant time in a lead or principal role, capable of owning and delivering large, complex projects from conception to completion. Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools. Extensive experience leading the visual design of complex enterprise products, with a portfolio showing strong typography, color theory, and layout. Ability to translate brand identity into cohesive and compelling user interfaces across multiple platforms. Exceptional ability to translate complex requirements, user needs, and research insights into clear, intuitive designs, effectively communicating with diverse stakeholders from engineers to senior leaders. Proven success navigating complex enterprise environments and leading outcome-driven design initiatives with complex interactions, large-scale navigation, and information architecture decisions. Experience leading design reviews, advocating for feature priority changes based on business context, and proactively identifying and addressing potential problems at a strategic level. A collaborative, thoughtful approach, capable of autonomous work while mentoring and enabling others. Compensation Disclosure The compensation offered for this position depends on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates offered at the posted level, the starting base salary is expected to be between $140,000 and $180,000 per year, with potential bonuses and stock units.
