Golden Sonora Care Center, part of Evergreen Healthcare Group, located at 19929 Greenley Rd, Sonora, CA 95370, is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator (SDC) to plan, organize, develop, and direct all in‑service educational programs in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.

Job Summary Plan, develop, direct, evaluate and coordinate educational and on‑the‑job training programs. Incorporate commercially produced instruction material and training aids into existing in‑service programs as deemed necessary. Develop, evaluate and control the quality of in‑service educational programs in accordance with established policies and procedures. Secure, develop and maintain records, reports, instructional manuals and reference materials pertinent to in‑service educational programs. Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, class attendance and subject records. Make written and oral reports/recommendations to the administrator concerning in‑service training programs. Work with the business office to ensure employees receive the correct benefits packages.

Qualifications

Clear & Active LVN/LPN or RN license in the state.

DSD certification preferred.

Minimum two (2) years of experience in a post‑acute/skilled nursing facility, LTC or hospital.

Experience in supervision and principles of teaching.

Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.
