Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the procurement of design, construction, commodities, and service-related contracts
Develop, issue, and manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Purchase Orders (POs), and related procurement documents
Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with contract terms
Conduct market research to analyze trends and supplier capabilities within the construction and nuclear industries
Prepare regular reports on procurement activities and maintain accurate procurement records for audits
Qualifications
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, specifically with construction contracts
Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certificate in Procurement and Supply Operations (CIPS) required
Proven experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and vendor management
Strong understanding of construction industry standards and procurement processes
Familiarity with nuclear quality assurance requirements (e.g., NQA-1) is a significant advantage
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with procurement of safety-related requirements per ASME Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA-1) standards
Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms (e.g., NetSuite)
Experience with finance-related software (e.g., Ramp)
Certified International Procurement Manager (CIPM) or Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) is desired
