Senior Mechanical HVAC Designer

We seek an experienced, high‑energy HVAC Designer to join our Building Mechanical team and deliver innovative HVAC design solutions for our heavy industrial clients. You will work alongside our team of engineers and designers performing field investigations, interfacing with clients & vendors, sizing and selecting equipment, and preparing construction design packages.
Base Pay Range:
$102,900.00/yr – $135,075.00/yr
Responsibilities
Layout and design HVAC systems.
Develop conceptual and preliminary design documents, including calculations for sizing and selecting systems, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and general arrangements.
Create final construction documents for chilled water, cooling water, and other systems.
Coordinate with other disciplines.
Qualifications
At least ten (10) years of experience designing HVAC systems for industrial facilities.
Proficiency in Revit.
In-depth knowledge of codes and standards related to HVAC design.
Ability to adapt within a fast‑paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
Effective collaboration with the project team remotely.
Preferred Experience
Software experience in AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D.
Design experience for plumbing/utility systems.
