Base pay range $119,000.00/yr - $166,000.00/yr

This Engineering Quality role combines quality focus with validation leadership as well as with AI‑driven innovation — perfect for a forward‑thinking technical leader ready to redefine what quality looks like in hyperscale server product development and NPI. This is an on‑site position in Fremont, CA.

Key Responsibilities

Improve R&D and NPI validation programs (equipment, process, and CSV), for the objective of improving Design for Quality vector and in turn improve the overall system quality

Build and expand the Quality Engineering organization, including R&D Quality and NPI/R&D Transfer support.

Drive integration of AI and statistical analytics into quality systems and lifecycle management.

Partner cross‑functionally with operations, R&D, and digital teams to elevate quality performance.

Core Competencies

Deep technical foundation in validation and quality systems within pharma, biotech, or life sciences.

Experience leveraging AI, data science, or advanced analytics in quality or validation settings.

Drive quality standards, improvements, and metrics across NPI products, processes, automation toolset release management and testing activities. Provide critical assessment while intervening and escalating where necessary to reduce risk and prevent failure.

Shift‑Left: Ensure root cause analysis of design and development failures and drive containment, corrective, and preventative actions to completion.

Drive continuous improvement through regular process audits and improvement suggestions on cost of quality, inefficiencies, gaps in testing as well as risks and opportunities in processes.

Leadership

Manage quality resources to ensure personal development, high standards of performance, and execution of key deliverables including risk management, and lessons learned which drive run success and reliability.

Able to architect and scale a new function from the ground up.

Analytics & Customer Focus

Strategic thinker; passionate about digital transformation and continuous improvement.

Ensure all available information regarding failures is collected, CAPA investigation initiated in the system, and drive the process until a champion has been defined.

Ensure customer concerns are resolved and the provision of NCR reports and information within agreed timelines.

Ensure proactive and regular communication on risks and opportunities through quality alerts, lessons learned reviews, and staff meetings.
