Overview Hanwha Qcells USA Corp (Qcells USA)
is a leading provider of utility‑scale photovoltaic modules, solar photovoltaic (PV), and battery energy storage systems (BESS) project development, along with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services for solar and BESS projects nationwide. Qcells USA delivers comprehensive turnkey solutions, coordinating Development, Module, EPC, Project Finance, Systems Integration, and Legal teams to ensure exceptional value and performance for customers.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Digital Innovation Team within the Process Innovation Office, including Digital Tool Experts and the Data Integration Group.
Own the digital roadmap for core EPC platforms (Salesforce, Procore, HeavyBid, HeavyJob, SAP, P6) and oversee implementation of system enhancements and user adoption strategies.
Coordinate closely with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and Project Controls to identify and resolve digital workflow pain points.
Ensure integrity, accessibility, and flow of operational data across Salesforce, Procore, HeavyBid, HeavyJob, and other enterprise systems.
Collaborate with IT Operations to maintain system uptime, cyber‑compliance, and performance.
Guide the Data Integration Group in establishing scalable, real‑time data architecture that supports reporting, analytics, and operational KPIs.
Develop and manage training and governance frameworks to maximize ROI on digital tools.
Oversee vendor relationships for EPC software platforms, including licensing, upgrades, and support escalation.
Participate in company‑wide initiatives involving system integrations, digital transformation, and business intelligence.
Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor to PIO leadership and the broader EPC executive team on digital infrastructure and innovations.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by Management.
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of experience in digital transformation, systems integration, or software operations within construction, EPC, or energy sectors.
Proven leadership of technical or cross‑functional teams, with direct management of software systems and data governance initiatives.
Strong understanding of EPC workflows and project lifecycle management in utility‑scale solar and/or storage projects.
Hands‑on experience with Salesforce, Procore, HeavyBid, and/or HeavyJob preferred.
Expertise in enterprise data architecture, API‑based integration, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Snowflake).
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Excellent communication, change management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Must be located in or willing to relocate to Houston, TX.
Physical Demands
Stationary position up to 90% of the time; sitting up to 8 hours per day.
Occasional bending, standing, stooping, and walking; lift objects up to 10 pounds.
Frequent hearing, speaking, and visual tasks related to computer use.
Climbing stairs as needed.
Travel up to 30% as required.
Work Environment
Regular professional office setting.
Noise levels moderate or high on construction sites; low to moderate in office.
Role may transition to onsite or hybrid arrangement per business needs.
