OCMBC, Inc. is seeking a
Business Intelligence Manager
to lead the development of our data and reporting capabilities. This role is pivotal in transforming data into actionable insights that drive decision-making across all divisions of the company. Reporting directly to the CTO/CMO, the BI Manager will shape our analytics strategy, modernize legacy reporting systems, and deliver dashboards and KPIs that empower leadership and business units. The ideal candidate will balance technical expertise with leadership skills, ensuring data integrity, governance, and strategic impact across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a small BI team of shared internal resources and external contractors, ensuring efficient delivery of BI initiatives.
Oversee
DOMO BI platform administration , including dashboards, cards, KPIs, and governance.
Ensure
data quality, governance, and security
across all reporting platforms and data pipelines.
Manage
data integrations and flows
from Encompass → Snowflake → BI tools (DOMO, Power BI, SSRS).
Drive
modernization efforts , including migration of on-prem SQL Servers and SSRS reports to Power BI or DOMO.
Collaborate with
divisional and departmental leaders
to gather requirements and deliver BI solutions that support business growth.
Partner with
external consultants
(e.g., Richie Mae) to complete high-priority analytics projects.
Implement best practices for BI development, documentation, version control, and
end-user training .
Monitor and optimize performance of BI platforms, queries, and pipelines to ensure scalability and reliability.
Stay current with emerging BI technologies and recommend innovations that align with company strategy.
Required Skills and Experience
5-7+ years of progressive experience
in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related roles, with at least
1-3 years in a management or team lead capacity .
Hands-on expertise (5+ years)
with BI platforms, including
DOMO
and
Power BI , delivering enterprise dashboards, KPIs, and governance frameworks.
3–5 years of experience
with
Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and Snowflake , including data modeling, ELT/ETL development, and performance optimization.
2-5+ years of SQL Server experience , with a proven track record of
migrating on-premises databases to the cloud (Azure preferred) .
2–3 years of experience managing or modernizing SSRS reports , with the ability to migrate legacy reporting into Power BI or DOMO.
Proficiency in Python (1+ years)
for automation, custom reporting, and data workflows (preferred but not required).
Proven leadership experience managing
hybrid teams
(internal staff, shared resources, and external contractors/consultants).
Strong knowledge of
data governance, compliance, and security frameworks , particularly handling NPPI/PII in financial services.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable BI solutions and present findings to senior leadership.
Education
Bachelor’s degree required
in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Mathematics/Statistics, or related field.
Master’s degree preferred
in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, or MBA with an analytics/technology focus.
Relevant certifications a plus , such as:
DOMO Professional Certification
Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
Snowflake SnowPro Certification
PMP/Agile certification
