Overview
We are looking for a Global Leader, Talent Management to design, drive, and execute Zscaler's global strategy for succession planning and critical talent development. This is a global program leadership role with a strong emphasis on execution, aimed at future-proofing our leadership pipeline. Based in San Jose, CA (with in-office work Tuesday-Thursday) and reporting to the Senior Director of Talent Development. Responsibilities
Leading Global Succession Planning: Design and execute a cohesive global strategy to build and monitor leadership pipelines for Critical Roles. Partner with HRBPs, Regional Talent Partners, and Executive Recruiting to identify talent gaps, translate needs into actionable hiring objectives, and ensure follow-through. Deliver concise, data-driven succession pipeline insights to C-suite stakeholders. Developing and Retaining Critical Talent: Provide tailored coaching and development for leaders in succession plans. Collaborate with Senior Leaders to accelerate leadership readiness and address retention risks for critical talent. What We’re Looking For (Minimum Qualifications)
8+ years of experience designing, operationalizing, and owning global succession planning and Critical Talent development programs in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Proven expertise managing and executing talent strategies globally Demonstrated expertise in coaching senior leaders (Director level and above) and driving post-review action planning globally Deep knowledge of talent assessment tools, leadership competency models, and the 9-Box methodology Exceptional ability to thrive in ambiguity, influence senior executives, and drive strong partnership within P&C and across the business What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., Executive Coaching, psychometric assessment) Creative thought leadership in leveraging predictive analytics or GenAI for talent pipeline forecasting Compensation
Base Pay Range: $147,000 - $210,000 USD Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/bonus/equity (if applicable) + benefits. Benefits
