Director of Rehabilitation (PT, PTA, SLP, OT, or COTA) – In-House
Location: Owego, NY. Salary: $72,000 – $92,000 per year.
Job Summary Responsible for all aspects of therapy operations at the facility in accordance with established policies, procedures, and practices of Evolve Therapy Services, LLC, under the direction of the Regional Director of Operations.
Responsibilities
Provide the best possible therapy services to patients consistent with established standards of practice and company and department procedures.
Oversee and manage all aspects of the therapy program in assigned facility(s).
Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, company policies, procedures, processes and guidelines, job description, certification requirements, HIPAA, confidentiality standards and resident rights.
Establish facility‑specific procedures in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, and train all therapy staff on established procedures.
Ensure all therapists deliver services in accordance with regulatory requirements, established standards of practice, company policies, procedures, therapy department procedures and productivity standards.
Ensure compliance with documentation and billing requirements for therapy services.
Communicate and interact professionally and respectfully with patients and family members.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Education & Requirements
Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Language Pathology.
Must be actively licensed (PT, PTA, OT, OTA, or SLP) in the state(s) of practice.
Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure and certification.
Experience with PDPM and MDS management preferred.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal leadership and communication skills.
Results‑oriented with strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
