The HT Group is partnering with a Texas-based services firm to hire a qualified

Accounting Manager

to oversee the monthly close process, manage consolidated financials, and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal control standards.

Location:

Dallas, TX.

Direct Hire – Hybrid/Remote - $135K – $145K base + bonus/solid benefits

Key Responsibilities

Lead the global month-end and quarter-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements.

Oversee consolidation activities for multiple domestic and international entities, including elimination entries, intercompany transactions, and foreign currency translation.

Review and analyze financial results to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with corporate accounting policies.

Coordinate with regional accounting teams to ensure proper reporting, compliance, and adherence to close timelines.

Manage and develop accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

Partner with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits, preparing schedules and responding to audit inquiries.

Support internal controls and SOX compliance by maintaining and enhancing documentation, controls, and procedures.

Assist in the implementation and optimization of financial systems to streamline consolidation and reporting processes.

Collaborate with FP&A and business leaders to provide insights into financial performance and assist with variance analysis.

Research and resolve complex accounting issues, including those related to consolidations, intercompany transactions, and foreign operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA required.

7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.

Experience with consolidated financial statements in a public or multinational corporate environment required.

Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and familiarity with IFRS or international accounting standards preferred.

Public accounting experience (Big 4 or large regional firm) is highly desirable.

Proficiency with Workday Financials strongly preferred.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Strong leadership and communication abilities with a collaborative approach.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $135,000 – $145,000 (commensurate with experience)

Bonus: 10–20% annual target
