We’re looking for a strategic and hands‑on Regional Financial Controller to lead the accounting and reporting operations for our North American division. This is a high‑impact role for a finance leader who thrives on precision, process optimization, and driving transformation across a growing, global organization. You’ll oversee full‑cycle accounting, reporting, and compliance under IFRS, while guiding a talented regional finance team and partnering with leadership to deliver insights that shape strategic decisions. Responsibilities

Lead all regional accounting operations, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting.

Ensure timely, accurate financial statements under IFRS and internal policies.

Partner with Shared Services (AP, AR, Tax) to streamline financial operations.

Manage internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and on‑time completion.

Maintain strong internal controls and documentation that meet company and regulatory standards.

Identify, design, and implement process and system improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Deliver actionable financial insights that empower regional and global leaders.

Collaborate with FP&A to analyze performance, budget, and forecast trends.

Drive strategic initiatives such as mergers & acquisitions, due diligence, and post‑integration activities.

Lead efforts in automation, system upgrades, and enhanced financial analytics to support data‑driven decision‑making.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing finance team.

Set clear goals, conduct performance reviews, and plan succession strategies.

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Champion professional growth and inclusion across the team.

Qualifications

CPA required

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role

Background in public accounting (Big Four or large firm preferred)

Proven PCAOB audit exposure, either within a public company or as an external auditor

Expertise in U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and internal control frameworks (SOX, COSO)

Track record of success managing audits, compliance, and reporting functions

ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills

Demonstrated experience leading finance transformation initiatives (automation, analytics, systems)

Excellent communication, business partnering, and stakeholder management skills
