Job Description
Pay Range: $20hr - $25hr We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to execute lab testing, support equipment qualification, and maintain good laboratory and documentation practices. This role involves performing minimally complex tests with guidance, troubleshooting inconsistencies, and assisting with process simplification initiatives in the laboratory. Requirements / Must Have
BS in Science with 0+ years of experience in a regulated industry/laboratory, or AAS in Applied Science with 0+ years of experience in a regulated industry/laboratory, or High School Diploma with 4+ years of experience in a regulated industry/laboratory. Proficient written and verbal communication skills. Well-organized with strong attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Basic understanding of math and ability to accurately collect, record, and report data. Developing technical writing skills and root cause analysis techniques. Preferred: Experience operating and troubleshooting mechanical test equipment in the lab. Preferred: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, and Teams. Experience
Experience supporting equipment qualification (IQ, OQ) and test method validation (TMV). Experience supporting TMD and Verification/Validation teams. Experience maintaining good documentation practices (GDP) and compliance with GLP. Responsibilities
Execute minimally complex test requests with moderate assistance. Handle minimally complex problems with guidance from supervisors. Work with moderate oversight to complete minimally complex projects. Support equipment qualification (IQ, OQ) and TMV development. Support TMD and Verification/Validation teams. Troubleshoot inconsistencies in test needs/requests with the requestor. Maintain good documentation practices (GDP) and GLP compliance. Assist in creating tools for process simplification of laboratory operations. Qualification And Education
BS in Science, AAS in Applied Science, or High School Diploma with applicable experience as outlined above. Physical Demands
Standing while performing tasks. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Work Environment
Laboratory environment using personal protective equipment (PPE). May encounter or use chemicals or human body fluids for testing.
