Job Description This role contributes to the company’s cloud strategy by designing, implementing, and maintaining end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines that embed security, compliance, and automated testing. You will work across teams to translate business needs into scalable, reproducible infrastructure as code.
Primary Responsibilities
Partner with engineers and IT staff to orchestrate code builds, quality and security analyses, deployments, and automated testing through CI/CD release pipelines.
Translate business requirements into technology solutions and communicate the states and steps that determine a release candidate.
Design fully autonomous pipelines that automate infrastructure, services, and application builds, ensuring all components follow best software‑engineering practices.
Research and evaluate new technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Build highly scalable CI/CD platforms to support high change volumes and fast feedback.
Automate operational activities, respond to performance issues, and troubleshoot production pipeline incidents.
Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, Terraform scripts, Packer images, and other infrastructure‑as‑code artifacts.
Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, and QA teams to enable automated cloud migration.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED plus eight (8) years of related post‑secondary education and/or experience in Information Security or Information Technology.
Preferred Qualifications
Four (4) years of relevant DevSecOps experience.
AWS DevOps or Azure DevOps certification.
Experience building and deploying cloud‑native applications on OpenShift or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Familiarity with real‑time pipeline metrics and deployment strategies such as Blue/Green and Canary.
Experience with secrets management (HashiCorp Vault) and chaos engineering principles.
Comfort developing pipelines as code using YAML, Ansible, Terraform, and other CI/CD tooling.
Strong communication skills and willingness to mentor developers in DevSecOps practices.
Skills and Competencies
Excellent knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, services, and application services.
Proficient in Python and .NET C# or Java for API and SDK development.
Working knowledge of Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Ansible, Terraform, Packer, Git, and ServiceNow.
Experience with Harness CD, GitHub Actions, Artifactory, and CI/CD pipeline templates.
Understanding of shift‑left principles and facilitation technologies.
