is currently hiring a

Advanced Power Systems Engineer

to join our team. The responsibilities of the Advanced Power Systems Engineer will include working closely with project engineers and project managers on multi‑discipline project teams providing analysis and technical expertise. The position entails performing a variety of Advanced Power System studies to support our renewable energy clients.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced engineering power system studies using software such as: ETAP, EasyPower, PSLF, PSS/E, CYMCAP, PSCAD, CDEGS, EMPT and others.

Prepare project deliverables including but not limited to data gathering requests, accurate study results, technical reports, engineering drawing updates, correspondence and miscellaneous project documentation.

Collaborate with other engineering disciplines as required. Assess the impacts of design changes on other disciplines to pick the best solution. Foster constructive communication between disciplines.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college.

3+ years experience in power system design and analysis.

Ability to write technical reports in a clear, concise manner.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college.

7+ years of Advanced Power System experience in the power generation and/or delivery industry using ETAP and EZPower.

Professional Engineering License (PE).

Experience working as an electrical consultant and managing projects.

Experience writing technical papers or reports.

Salary Range: $50/hr - 85/hr.

The posted salary range represents the typical range for this position and is provided in accordance with applicable state and local transparency laws. Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
