Overview

Progression, Inc. is seeking a Litigation Paralegal in Washington, D.C. to support the litigation team with case management, research, and document preparation. The role requires initiative, teamwork, and strong communication skills. Responsibilities

Manage cases, calendars, and deadlines Cite-check, Bluebook, proofread, format, and prepare documents for electronic and paper filing Coordinate collection, processing, production, review, and management of client documents Prepare for depositions, gather potential evidence, coordinate logistics, and prepare witness files, exhibits, notices, subpoenas, notebooks, summaries, and notes of proceedings Perform substantive factual research and analytical work using online and hard-copy research tools Provide in-court assistance when going to trial Qualifications

3–5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal 3+ years of Bluebooking 3+ years of using Westlaw, Bloomberg Law, and PACER 1+ year of trial experience is a plus Ability to handle 10 cases at any given time Proficiency in factual research using online and hard-copy research tools and in legal research using Westlaw, Bloomberg Law, and PACER Experience handling client matters in litigation and ability to utilize e-discovery review systems (e.g., Relativity, Reef Review, West Case Notebook) Ability to exercise initiative to identify attorney and client needs and willingness to assist as needed Strong teamwork and ability to develop and maintain quality relationships with staff, lawyers, clients, and vendors Excellent oral and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro Undergraduate degree with an excellent academic record About the Employer
