Position Summary As a Senior Manager, HR Business Partner – Corporate Affairs, you will partner closely with the Legal teams and the Government Affairs group within Corporate Affairs. You will have the opportunity to develop and implement HR solutions aligned to business strategy. This role will allow you to be the driving force in translating critical ideas into actionable plans that align with our purpose and can be seamlessly integrated into our everyday operations. You will demonstrate your partnership and advisory skills through a combination of relationship building, effective communication, strategic thinking, and collaboration. You will have a strong emphasis on enabling data-driven business decisions and contributing to the overall strategic HR planning for the organization and within the Legal and Government Affairs groups.
What You Will Do
Collaborate with business leaders to understand the organization's strategic direction and translate it into Human Resources strategies and initiatives.
Assess the organization's structure, identify opportunities for optimization, and develop strategies to enhance organizational effectiveness.
Provide thought leadership and strategic advice on talent management initiatives and other people-related priorities, helping to shape the overall business strategy.
Promote performance management initiatives and help create a culture of high performance and individual growth & development. Coach people leaders and recommend tools and resources to guide effective performance feedback conversations.
Lead or participate in Human Resources projects or initiatives aimed at enhancing processes, employee engagement and engagement survey action, and diversity and inclusion efforts.
Partner with our Talent Acquisition teams as needed on strategies related to candidate selection, internal mobility, hiring strategy, and aligning with hiring managers.
Advise on compensation matters, which could include consultation on new hire offers, colleague promotions, and ongoing business cycles such as the annual compensation review process and compensation programs in partnership with the Compensation team.
Utilize workforce data and analytics to provide insights and recommendations to business leaders by identifying trends, developing metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives, and helping the business unit achieve its goals.
Provide strategic Human Resources guidance, influence decision-making, and foster strong partnerships across the organization.
Collaborate with COE partners within the HR Team and leverage shared resources to strengthen programs and initiatives within the business units.
Support change management initiatives and foster employee engagement within the organization by helping leaders effectively communicate and manage change, anticipate and address employee concerns, and build strategies to create a positive and inclusive work environment.
Provide guidance and support to business leaders, and partner with the colleague relations team on colleague relations matters.
Ensure enterprise-wide policies and practices strictly align with legal requirements and industry regulations.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of progressive HR experience.
3+ years supporting senior business leaders, proven experience with Director+ level stakeholders.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).
Willingness to travel up to 25% (including by airplane).
Preferred Qualifications

Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is $82,940.00 – $182,549.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
