is a catalyst for customer growth, infrastructure expansion, and operational excellence. This department drives profitable customer growth through new customer projects and service installations. It places a strong emphasis on customer experience, fostering repeat business and improving sentiment through proactive communication and streamlined processes. The team also champions continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging customer feedback and operational assessments to refine workflows, reduce delays, and enhance service delivery. New Business Sr. Project Managers collaborate across engineering, field operations, scheduling, and regulatory teams to deliver customer energy solutions that meet NIPSCO's standards for safety, reliability, and efficiency. Whether supporting residential developments, commercial expansions, or industrial projects, this department is empowered to lead with accountability and innovation. You will play a pivotal role in guiding projects from initial intake through construction—ensuring every customer engagement delivers responsive service and satisfaction. Responsibilities

Reviews and analyzes complex construction drawings, permits, easements, agreements, and other miscellaneous documents for the design of gas and electric projects

Educated in gas and electric industry related knowledge and can provide technical advice to customers. Ability to advise customer on both sides of meter: our installation process in front of the meter as well as what the customer can anticipate behind the meter

Mentors New Business Project Managers to ensure efficient and timely completion of gas and electric utility projects through to the installation of the meter interfacing with internal departments to provide an exceptional customer experience

Builds relationships with key organizations and external stakeholders

Works to provide efficient and timely completion of gas and electric utility projects through to the installation of the meter interfacing with internal departments to provide an exceptional customer experience

Manages commit dates to ensure that all internal resources and materials are planned and aligned with customer's site readiness

Understands and can communicate to customers, the company tariff, and how it impacts new business

Contracts with customer for service as specified and authorized by policy

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

3+ years of experience in project management or coordination

3+ years of experience in budgeting and scheduling

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with utility operations

Experience managing Large Projects through completion; contract negotiation including minimum use and true up terms

Salary Range*:

$67,900.00 - $119,600.00 *The salary offered to a candidate is based on several factors including the candidate's skills, job-related knowledge, and relevant experience, as well as internal pay equity. Posting Start Date:
