Position Title:
Senior Business Systems Analyst – Fraud Services
Location:
Remote (Must work Eastern Time hours)
Position Status:
Contract (W2 with PTO)
Base pay range:
$50.00/hr - $65.00/hr
We are seeking a
Senior Business Systems Analyst
to support enterprise technology initiatives within the
Fraud Services
division. In this role, you’ll serve as the vital link between business stakeholders and technical teams—translating business needs into actionable technology solutions. You’ll manage product backlogs, document requirements, and partner closely with Product Owners and development teams to ensure successful delivery in an Agile environment.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in
financial or banking systems , excellent communication and analytical skills, and a proven ability to manage complex requirements across multiple projects.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with business and IT teams to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
Author detailed user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria to guide development and testing.
Manage and maintain product backlogs and ADO boards for visibility and prioritization.
Lead requirements workshops, user story grooming sessions, and sprint planning meetings.
Liaise between product management, engineering, and business units to ensure alignment on priorities.
Conduct impact analysis and validation to ensure business needs are fully met.
Identify process improvements and provide recommendations for product or system enhancements.
Prepare clear and concise documentation and status updates for stakeholders.
Support multiple medium-to-large projects independently or as part of a team.
Required Skills / Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar technical role.
Hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for backlog and board management.
Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies.
Proven experience gathering and documenting functional and non‑functional requirements.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
Experience with ServiceNow or similar enterprise platforms.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Background in Financial Services, Banking, or Fraud Prevention systems preferred.
Relevant certifications (CSM, SAFe, or Azure Cloud Fundamentals) are a plus.
