Overview
The Manufacturing Maintenance Lead will oversee equipment maintenance schedules, manage spare parts inventory, minimize production downtime, and provide technical expertise, analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and industrial control systems troubleshooting skills. 1st shift Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Ensure minimal production equipment downtime. Perform and lead repairs, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting on industrial machinery, including various equipment such as thermoforming machines, CNC machines, and air compressors. Repair, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial electrical controls and hydraulic, vacuum, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment. Serve as the technical lead, leading and performing technical and routine maintenance tasks. Maintains equipment records in the CMMS and accurately records all data. Establishes and maintains spare parts inventory. Orders and stocks spare parts. Maintains integrity of equipment manuals and documentation. Adheres to and promotes safe work practices and follows lockout / tagout procedures. Promotes and maintains a clean and organized work environment. Devising methods to enhance processes, procedures, and systems for improved efficiency, reliability, and durability. Maintain, repair, and remodel facilities and infrastructure, including drywall, plumbing, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Maintain and oversee hazardous waste storage, conduct inspections, manage collection services, and maintain accurate records. Obtain quotes for services and oversee contractors while performing services onsite. Oversee projects and monitor project / contractor safety, performance, and timelines. The main point of contact for construction projects and services, including building trades, uniform supplies, cafeteria vending, janitorial, and forklift services. Function as the point of contact for facility compliance matters, including water testing, fire system inspections, and insurance audits. A high school diploma or equivalent, vocational training 6+ years in troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical equipment in an industrial environment. 2+ years of experience as an equipment maintenance lead. 4+ years of experience in a facilities maintenance role. Experience in supervision and project management is preferred. Journeyman-level electricians, HVAC technicians, machinists, or tool and die makers with solid experience in electro-mechanical control systems preferred. Electro-mechanical apprenticeships or education considered. Experience in TPM and Lean is helpful. LANGUAGE SKILLS
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Conversational in any other language is a plus. JOB SKILLS
Proficient in MS Office Suite and SharePoint. Knowledge of ERP systems, SAP preferred. Extensive knowledge of electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, vacuum, and mechanical systems. Understanding of troubleshooting procedures using PLC Advanced troubleshooting skills for industrial manufacturing equipment. Ability to read electrical schematics. Experience desired in inventory improvement and organization. Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Competency in mechanical disassembly, repair, and reassembly. Ability to recognize and replace worn parts to prevent future failures and machine downtime. Competency in facilities maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, drywall, and HVAC systems. Managerial courage to proactively address issues and conflicts. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing job duties, the employee will regularly engage in activities such as using hands to finger, handle, or feel and communicating verbally. Additionally, the employee will frequently need to reach with hands and arms while standing and walking as part of the role. Occasional lifting and movement of objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds and using a ladder may be required. This position also demands specific vision capabilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
