Position Purpose

With the PHCO Population Health and Clinical Operations PMO team, you will be part of Population Health project management initiatives and demonstrate a proven track record of successfully leading business (non‑IT) clinical systems migrations. Business areas in scope include Utilization Management, Care Management, Appeals, Medical Management, and Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

Lead weekly PHCO Clinical Functional Workgroup meetings, ensuring effective coordination and follow‑up on key initiatives.

Manage and maintain the PHCO business process project plan, tracking progress and ensuring timely deliverables.

Provide weekly updates and reports during leadership meetings, highlighting progress, risks, and key decisions.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify, navigate, and implement solutions that address market operational needs and align with system development capabilities.

Required Education / Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, related field, or equivalent experience. Master’s degree preferred. 4+ years of project management and implementation or program management experience. Proficient with MS Office applications and project management tools. Project management planning tools (i.e. Smartsheet, Planview) and Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio). Experience working with and leading diverse groups and matrix managed environments.

License / Certification

PMP, PgMP, or CAPM preferred.

Preferred Skills

2–3 years of hands‑on experience in Population Health initiatives and demonstrate a proven track record of successfully leading clinical systems migrations.

TruCare clinical system experience.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Effective task follow‑up and follow‑through.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Salary Range

$86,000.00 – $154,700.00 per year.

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including competitive pay, health insurance, 401(k) and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job‑related factors permitted by law, including full‑time or part‑time status. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
