About the Role The Assistant Director of Dining/CDM is responsible for the overall effective dietary services; selecting, training, supervising dietary services personnel; procuring supplies and equipment; assisting with budget preparation and operating within budgetary guidelines.
Responsibilities
Organize and supervise all dietary service functions in consultation with the Dining Director.
Maintain established dietary standards and policies in consultation with the Registered Dietitian.
Exemplify community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
Ensure food quality, appearance, and presentation standards are met.
Qualifications
Certified Dietary Manager (CDM).
High school graduate required; college degree preferred.
Minimum of three years’ experience in administration of food services systems.
Ability to communicate, understand, empathize, and be tolerant of residents, patients, visitors, families, peers, subordinates, supervisor, and outside contacts.
