Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $116,000.00/yr
What You’ll Be Doing As the Tool & Die Manager, you’ll lead a skilled team of toolmakers and machinists to design, fabricate, maintain, and repair precision tools and dies. You’ll ensure top-quality tooling supports production schedules, drive continuous improvement, manage inventories and budgets, and maintain a safe, efficient toolroom.
A Day In The Life
Lead and supervise the tool & die team, assigning tasks and fostering development
Oversee tool and die design, fabrication, modification, and repairs
Collaborate with engineering and production to support manufacturing needs
Manage tooling inventory, ordering, and budget controls
Ensure tooling quality and compliance with industry and safety standards
Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce costs
Maintain accurate tooling documentation and reports
Train and mentor team members to enhance skills and safety awareness
You’re a Great Fit If You
Have 7+ years in tool & die making and 3+ years in a supervisory role
Are skilled in CAD/CAM, blueprint reading, and tooling fabrication
Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
Understand lean manufacturing and quality control principles
Are committed to safety and continuous improvement
Preferred Experience
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree a plus
Proven experience managing tool & die operations in manufacturing
Hands‑on expertise with manual and CNC machining, tool repairs, and quality inspections
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, move frequently, and lift up to 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally)
Good vision and manual dexterity for detailed work
