Responsibilities
Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Minimum Qualifications and Education
In possession of an approved Florida Class “D” license from the DOACS.
In possession of the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
Proof of a high school diploma, college degree, or a valid state GED certificate.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving history.
Minimum one (1) year’s work experience in security or supervisory‑related positions.
Ability to work flexible schedules: days, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
Reliably owned personal transportation for commuting to job sites.
24/7 access to a smartphone (Android, iPhone, or Windows) and computer with internet access.
Intermediate computer skills: emailing, web browsing, MS Word, Adobe PDF.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong English communication skills (reading, writing).
Ability to safely work in a variety of environments.
Ability to obtain personal uniform items as needed.
Good physical condition; able to walk, climb stairs, work in traffic control, lift up to 50 pounds.
Maintain a neat, professional appearance and adhere to grooming standards per SOP.
Pass a drug test and background investigation.
Complete all mandated training within deadlines.
Preferred Skills
Florida Armed Class “G” Security License and completion of a 28‑hour Armed Security Officer Course.
Working knowledge of maritime security enforcement guidelines (MTSA, Florida laws, ordinances).
CPR and first aid certifications or willingness to obtain them.
Prior veteran, military, or law‑enforcement experience (documentation required).
