About the Role: Raytheon seeks a Facility Security Officer (FSO) to oversee industrial security compliance at a complex operating under NISPOM, ensuring compliance with DoD and U.S. Government security requirements for a 2,000‑sq‑ft classified software engineering environment supporting over 1,500 cleared employees. The FSO will report to the Regional Security Director, supervise a team of five industrial security professionals, and coordinate with Cyber, Physical, Counterintelligence, Special Programs, Operations Security, DCSA, program leadership, and government customers.

What You Will Do

Leadership & Compliance:

Serve as principal advisor to site and program leadership on all classified and industrial security matters; implement, maintain, and continuously improve the site’s security program; lead a multidisciplinary team on classified material control, access authorization, visitor management, incident response, and continuous monitoring; oversee participation in DCSA, USG, and internal inspections and audits.

Program & Operational Support:

Direct classified information management—document control, media handling, transmission, destruction; conduct incident investigations and report violations; develop corrective action plans; provide oversight for Direct Commercial Sales international transmissions and coordinate with Global Trade and Export/Import offices.

Training & Engagement:

Develop, deliver, and maintain a robust Security Education and Awareness Program, including briefings, refresher training, and special‑topic sessions; mentor and coach team members; partner with site leadership to foster a strong security culture aligned with Raytheon’s values.

Collaboration & Communication:

Primary point of contact with DCSA; partner with Program Management, Engineering, HR, Legal, IT; manage subcontractor and external partner compliance.

Qualifications You Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in Security, Criminal Justice, Business, or related field.

Minimum of 10 years progressive experience in industrial or government security.

Experience applying NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117), DoD Manuals, and related security directives.

Experience with Microsoft Products.

Qualifications We Prefer

Master’s degree in Security Studies, Business Administration, Risk Management, Government Policy, or related field.

Active Top Secret clearance.

Prior experience as an FSO, CSSO, or CPSO in a large, multi‑program environment.

Knowledge of Raytheon Security Systems (Resolver, SIMS, Access Commander, Visitor Management Systems, DISS, NISS).

Experience with Closed Area construction, accreditation, and management.

Strong understanding of cross‑functional security disciplines (Physical, Personnel, Cyber, Counterintelligence, Export Compliance).

Demonstrated leadership managing teams, driving process improvements, and achieving measurable compliance outcomes.

What We Offer

Compensation range: $124,000 – $250,000 USD; benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance, parental leave, paid time off, holidays, and incentive programs.
