Connecting Top Talent with Winning Teams | Expert Recruiter Driving Success Financial Controller — Manufacturing | Cost Accounting Focus Our client is seeking an experienced Controller with a strong foundation in cost accounting, financial reporting, and process improvement. This role will partner closely with operations and leadership to drive profitability, improve financial visibility, and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Lead cost accounting, including job costing, standard costing, variance analysis, and overhead allocation

Provide financial reporting, KPI tracking, and actionable insights for leadership

Identify cost drivers and recommend efficiency improvements across operations

Support ERP upgrades, process improvements, SOP development, and internal controls

Oversee month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and GAAP compliance

Train, mentor, and develop accounting team members

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA or CMA preferred)

5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Controller or senior cost accounting responsibilities

Strong manufacturing background with hands‑on cost accounting expertise

ERP proficiency and advanced Excel skills

Proven process improvement and team development experience

Preferred

Experience in lean or continuous improvement environments

Strong business acumen and ability to influence cross‑functional teams
